I am honored to be serving this year as Board President. Our Board of Directors is a circle of talented professionals, business owners and wonderful people that I'm blessed to call friends.

 

My vision is to build upon the genuine harmony of interaction that occurs at our board level and in the community of Chamber members who regularly grace our Morning and Evening Mixers. A thriving business builds through connections filled with real appreciation at the personal level. More than anything else this generates trust, patronage and referrals.

 

Topanga's Chamber is made up of Topangans - an eclectic, independent and accomplished array of professionals. To other Chambers, we are unusual - what a surprise! We're smaller, and I'd say, lighter. There is simplicity of shared purpose that is grounded in the joy of living and working in this great gift of our canyon.

 

I am very committed to the life of the self-employed and love the entrepreneurial enthusiasm of business owners, as this is my journey. Central to my values is the goodwill of service in community. In my experience, the two fit together like the last two jigsaw puzzle pieces coming together to the delight and beauty of the whole picture.
